Meredith Salenger
Salenger was raised and born in Malibu, California. As a child she enjoyed doing shows in front of close family and friends. The mother of her child took her to her first class in acting at the age of eight old. The first part she played was a small part as a 'singing and dancing orphan for the feature film Annie which was directed by John Huston. Salenger has also appeared in a range ads on TV. Salenger had her first leading part in The Journey of Natty Gann which was which was a Disney film that featured John Cusack with Ray Wise. It was the first US film to win the Gold Award from the Moscow Film Festival. Also, she took home "Best Female Actress in a drama" at the Youth in Film Awards in appreciation of her performance as the charming Natty. She was also in four films before she turned 18 years old. One of her films is A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon. In the following year, she was accepted to Harvard for a higher education.
